Rules Governing Kinsmen Dream Home Lotto XXVI

Licensed to the Medicine Hat Kinsmen Club (AGLC ID# 63232) and administered by the Kinsmen Club of Medicine Hat
(Incorporation number 500009188).

1. Raffle Ticket Rules

Raffle tickets may not be sold to persons under the age of 18. Ticket sellers will advise potential buyers not to put the tickets in a person’s name that is under the age of 18.
When the winner of any ticket is under the age of 18, the prize shall be delivered to the formally appointed guardian of the estate of the Public Trustee.
In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the Kinsmen club of Medicine Hat will award the prize to only on of the individuals identified on the ticket. The Kinsmen Club of Medicine Hat and the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
All tickets are sold for cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard and Interac.
Prizes will be awarded in order as the dates are shown in section 2 – Prizes and the Restrictions that Apply.
There are no restrictions as to the qualifications of the purchaser except for the Club President, Home Lottery Chairman, Co-chairman(men) and their spouses are not allowed to participate in the lottery.
All winners have one full year from the date of the draw to claim their prize. If their prize is unclaimed after one full year, the club will apply to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission to liquidate the prize and place the proceeds towards the project.
All ticket requests shall be sent to the Medicine Hat Kinsmen Club or their representatives.
The chances of being selected depend on the number of tickets sold, to a maximum of 10,000 tickets.
There shall be no cash or prize substitutions.
All winning tickets from Early Bird or Supplementary prizes will be returned to the draw barrel after all draws for future and grand prize draws.
There are no refunds. All sales are final unless the club has sold less than 6,931 tickets by June 24, 2010. If this is the case, the club will apply for an extension for the final draw date from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission and will refund any tickets if the ticket holder wishes to do so.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded. There is no cash value or substitutions for any prizes.

Early Bird Prize #1 – Draw date is Monday December 28, 2009 at 12:00am (ticket sales cut off Saturday December 24, 2009 at 5:00pm). One draw for one cash prize of $10,000. Draw location is Richardson’s Jewellery, 208 - 3292 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat. Alberta.
Early Bird Prize #2-11 – Draw date is Monday December 28, 2009 at 12:00am (ticket sales cut off Saturday December 24, 2009 at 5:00pm). 10 separate draws for one gift certificate at Richardson’s Jewellery valued at $500.00 each for a total retail value at $5,000.00. Draw location is Richardson’s Jewellery, 208 - 3292 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat. Alberta.
Final Draw Prize #1-20 – Supplementary Draw Prizes. Draw date is Saturday June 26, 2010 at 5:00pm prior to the draw for the grand prize (ticket sales cut off Thursday June 24, 2010 at 9:00pm). 20 separate draws for one Sobey’s gift card valued at $100.00 each.
Final Draw Prize #21-30 – Supplementary Draw Prizes. Draw date is Saturday June 26, 2010 at 5:00pm prior to the draw for the grand prize (ticket sales cut off Thursday June 24, 2010 at 9:00pm). 10 separate draws for one Vision’s Electronics gift certificates valued at $500.00 each. Draw location is at the 2010 Kinsmen Home, 55 Somerset Dale SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Final Grand Prize #31 – The Grand Prize is a brand new 2,250 square foot house. It resides at 32 Somerset Dale SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta. Draw date is Saturday June 26, 2010 at 5:00pm (ticket sales cut off Thursday June 24, 2010 at 9:00pm). The home will be developed and landscaped as is; furnishings with the exception of the window coverings and appliances are not included. Draw location is at the 2010 Kinsmen Home, 55 Somerset Dale SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Prizes will be delivered only in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Delivery is to the winner’s door and does not include setup if applicable. If the winner resides outside of Medicine Hat, all freight costs are the responsibility of the winner.
